In addition to providing planned maintenance reports, surveyors can also help with other aspects of a block’s management. Where blocks have contracts with retained services engineers, lift contractors etc., the surveyor can provide an independent assessment of their schedule of duties to ensure it covers all legal requirements and is effective and enforceable for future maintenance.

The Homyze Pro surveyors can also provide guidance on any likely large expenditure requirements, such as replacements or critical parts, following a review of contractor reports.

HomyzePro can help with all general plumbing duties. From overflows and leaks to washing machine, dishwasher or bathroom installations, our team of qualified plumbers are available on either a reactive, emergency or scheduled basis. We are available 24/7 to attend to your plumbing problems.

As a plumbing contractor, we carry out installations and repairs for all domestic and commercial customers, including local authorities and landlords. For larger leaks, flooding and blockages, we also provide drainage services on either a planned or reactive basis.

HomyzePro is an electrical contractor offering either a same day or scheduled service for both reactive and planned or preventative maintenance (PPM). All work is fully certified as required, and our engineers are regulated by bodies such as NICEIC, Elecsa and NAPIT.

We can provide both regulatory and reactive services from smoke alarms to electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) and portable appliance testing (PAT testing). We also undertake periodic testing and inspections.

The HomyzePro heating engineers are able to carry out all manner of boiler installations and repairs. We are approved installers of many of the leading brands such as Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Viessman, Potterton, Glow Worm, Baxi, Keston and Ideal.

As one of London’s leading boiler installation and repair groups, HomyzePro has relationships with many of the leading suppliers and retailers of spare parts. This ensures that we can get any necessary parts quickly and efficiently.

HomyzePro provides responsive, efficient and economical solutions for a wide range of commercial and domestic drainage services. These include blocked drains; drain repairs and installation; vacuum tanker works and flood clearance; CCTV drain surveys; drain jetting; sump pump and saniflo repairs and installations and preventative maintenance cleaning.

The HomyzePro gardeners are all trained and qualified and able to help with any gardening work. From grounds maintenance and major overhauls between tenancies to regular garden upkeep, our team of professionals is available at a time to suit you and your tenants or customers.

HomyzePro provides the full range of handyman services and is available on a scheduled or reactive basis. Our handymen can perform both large and small works including replacing light bulbs or hanging pictures through to replastering, TV wall mounting and door repairs.

HomyzePro offer London’s leading independent domestic appliance repairs services. We provide both gas and electrical appliance repair services including all washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, cookers, ovens, refrigerators (fridges), freezers, extractor hoods and more. We have extensive experience working with most manufacturers’ products including Samsung, Beko, Whirlpool, LG, smeg, AEG, neff, Bosch, Indesit, Hotpoint, Siemens and many more.

Our team are able to do both minor and major upgrade works such as painting and decorating, filling and plasterwork, bathroom and kitchen refurbishments, electrical systems upgrades, tiling and flooring.

If your landlords are looking for end of tenancy or void works in order to maximise the returns on their properties, we would be happy to help.

HomyzePro provides qualified home energy inspectors that are licensed to perform domestic surveys. We can also help you with commercial EICRs if required.

Landlords and property owners in England and Wales are required to have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) and provide them to any prospective buyer or tenant when they lease build or sell a residential or commercial property.

An EICR (or Periodic Inspection Report as they used to be known) are often referred to as a Landlord Safety Test or Homebuyers Test as this is often the prompt for having an assessment of your electrical system. HomyzePro can undertake both residential and commercial EICRs for properties of any size.

Although it is not a legal requirement to have an Electrical Condition Report performed, landlords do need to confirm that the electrics are safe (and safely maintained). The EICR can satisfy this requirement as well as providing peace of mind.

HomyzePro can help your landlords satisfy their legal requirement to have a gas safety check performed every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Once this inspection has been performed, our engineers will provide you (or the landlord) with a Gas Safety Record and it will be uploaded into your property portal on the HomyzePro site.

The Homyze Pro pest control specialists can help keep your blocks free from a variety of common pests, including rats, mice, wasps, birds and bed bugs. Our exterminators offer fast and efficient treatments using certified, quality products.

We can offer a complete service: inspections, proofing and even disinfection once the treatment has been undertaken.

HomyzePro has qualified and insured locksmiths available to undertake both emergency and planned works. Whether tenants have lost keys or your landlord is looking to change the locks at the beginning or end of a lease, HomyzePro can provide you with one of our locksmiths to keep your clients’ properties secure.

Whilst we do not (currently) provide contract cleaning services, we can offer end of tenancy and post-builders cleans including ovens, fridges, bathrooms and carpets. Whether this is organised on behalf of landlords or tenants, our cleaners use an industry approved end of tenancy checklist developed for the London lettings market.

We can assist your landlords with waste disposal services to ensure that properties are clear and clutter free for marketing or for new tenants. HomyzePro is committed to ensuring that all waste is disposed of in an environmentally sensitive way and will be recycled wherever possible.

The HomyzePro waste disposal teams operate 24/7 and we only charge for the amount of waste collected and disposed.

Whether it is touching up or a complete repaint of communal areas, HomyzePro has qualified painters and decorators ready to respond.

Our painters and decorators provide both interior and exterior painting and decorating services. We pride ourself on the quality of our workmanship and are sure we can help you by improving the presentation of your clients properties.

Many buildings have mandated frequency for external redecorations whereas some often leave it slightly more vague, relying on landlords and tenants to request the works. Generally, buildings require external redecoration every 5 to 7 years.

Whether you need an initial appointment of surveyors or are ready for us to quote for the recommended works, we are happy to help.

Normally, the first step in replacing a roof is to appoint an independent, qualified surveyor. Roof repairs are by their nature complicated and expensive jobs and it is best to coincide these with the external maintenance programme. Where possible (such as with smaller issues such as slipped slates or damaged gutters) our roofing engineers will provide the most cost-effective solution to maintain the frequency of other maintenance works.

All of our roofing engineers are trade accredited and estimated works will generally include an insurance backed guarantee of up to 20 years.

In an ideal world, the major works form part of your 10 year Planned Maintenance Programme and the funds have been collected and are ready to be used for the agreed scope of works. Of course, this is not always the case and whether in conjunction with the section 20 consultation process or independent of, you need to have tender documents prepared with detailed specifications for tender.

In all cases, the first step in the major works should be to appoint a qualified surveyor to carry out a detailed survey of the building and advise on the scope and timing of works, We can discuss the potential project with either yourself or your landlords and are able to offer all the services you may need including plumbing, electrics, decorating, glazing and carpentry. We can even use our network of planning consultants, cost consultants, quantity surveyors, architects and technicians if needed.
